Two days ago, I was walking along the beach for my morning walk when I noticed a flock of seagulls swirling around a specific section of the beach. They would fly to the water then soar back to the beach then over the street before swarming back to the beach again as if anticipating for something big to happen. Suddenly I noticed this man walking towards the beach with a plastic bag and realized he was there to feed the gulls. It also seemed like this wasn’t his first time feeding them as the gulls seem to recognize him and were very excited to see him again. It was fascinating to watch the interaction between the man and the seagulls, which expressed their utmost appreciation for the free meal by making loud squawks. Thankfully, I had my phone with me and was able to capture the moment, except for the feeding part as I was too mesmerized and forgot to take more photos. It is truly amazing how humans and the rest of the animal kingdom can actually bond together…via food.

During one of my morning walks on the beach I saw this flock of birds flying along the shoreline so I immediately pulled out my phone to photograph them as they flew in front of the rising sun. I thought it was awesome seeing them perfectly arranged in a V formation with each bird knowing their exact position during the flight. Thankfully my phone was able to capture each bird including those right in front of the sun. It is amazing how well a phone camera can capture moments like this.

I was planning to post more photos of my recent trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina but during my walk with my dog this morning I took a few photographs that were just too pretty not to be shared…especially at this time of the year when it’s freezing in many parts of the world. Allow me to send some of our warm sunshine to everyone up north and hope you all are bundled up and warm at home. Living in South Florida is such a blessing and living close to the beach is a wonderful privilege I’m most grateful for. Although when the hurricane season comes it also becomes a curse. Anyway, here are the photos I took this morning using my iPhone 7Plus and I hope they all encourage you to plan a visit to the sunshine state soon.
