ROJO TANGO

I have been away from this page for quite some time now not because I’m out of photos to share but because I’m having difficulty writing narratives for my posts. I did mention in my profile that I am not much of a writer so every post I make is really a struggle for me. Unfortunately, I’m better expressing myself in photos and the fewer the words required the better for me. Anyway, I am currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a holiday and I guess the beauty of the place stirred up my creative juices so I’m back again with a few photos to share. The other night I went to Rojo Tango, supposedly the creme de la creme of tango shows in Buenos Aires, inside the 5-star Faena Hotel. The experience I purchased included hotel pick-up and drop off with a private car as well as a hearty three course dinner (got the steak for my entree) with open bar (wine, beer, sodas and coffee) the entire evening. I was lucky enough to sit on a table right in front of the stage allowing me unobstructed views of the show. I did make the mistake of going online and read that photography is not allowed in the venue. I left my DSLR in my hotel room only to find out upon arrival that only flash photography was prohibited. Thankfully, I have my ever reliable iPhone 7 Plus and was able to take a few decent photos from the show. I am highly recommending the show and I would also suggest to go splurge and get the dinner with transportation package. For more info visit their website at http://www.rojotango.com.
