I was at Home Depot this afternoon to buy some gardening stuff and decided to stay a few extra minutes to explore their garden section. I found myself admiring the blooms and decided to whip out my iPhone and started taking these photos. It is very convenient that one can just buy a potted plant complete with flowers and all. Gone were the days when you have to start with a seed and pray it grows then pray harder that it survives to bloom. The retail industry has indeed made life very convenient.

The photos are beautiful. And,yes, the box stores have made it easy, too easy. Because they don’t tell you that the plants have been infused with chemicals that will kill butterflies and bees that try to drink the nectar. Sorry, the Master Gardener in me just came out. 🙂

Great pics! I manage to kill most plants, (unintended I must say), except for weeds, which I never seem able to kill.
