ROJO TANGO

I have been away from this page for quite some time now not because I’m out of photos to share but because I’m having difficulty writing narratives for my posts. I did mention in my profile that I am not much of a writer so every post I make is really a struggle for me. Unfortunately, I’m better expressing myself in photos and the fewer the words required the better for me. Anyway, I am currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a holiday and I guess the beauty of the place stirred up my creative juices so I’m back again with a few photos to share. The other night I went to Rojo Tango, supposedly the creme de la creme of tango shows in Buenos Aires, inside the 5-star Faena Hotel. The experience I purchased included hotel pick-up and drop off with a private car as well as a hearty three course dinner (got the steak for my entree) with open bar (wine, beer, sodas and coffee) the entire evening. I was lucky enough to sit on a table right in front of the stage allowing me unobstructed views of the show. I did make the mistake of going online and read that photography is not allowed in the venue. I left my DSLR in my hotel room only to find out upon arrival that only flash photography was prohibited. Thankfully, I have my ever reliable iPhone 7 Plus and was able to take a few decent photos from the show.     • Thank you. They even added stage smoke to create the illusion of cigarette smoke from the audience, made it look very sexy…Glad you liked my photos and hope you visit again. Happy New Year!
